Took my first bike ride in months today. The chain on my Specialized appeared less trustworthy than President Max Richards' last Integrity Commission but it got me down Rendezvous Hill and back.

No, of course I did not ride up Rendezvous Hill. I came up the much less steep (though proportionately much longer) Warners Hill. I went through St Lawrence Gap to say hello to  visiting Trini friends and was reminded that I wanted to remind people to put up with the endifs and buts in tomorrow's blog and make sure they read the As Bajan as Flying Fish for tomorrow. The guy is a scream; and dangerously sane.

Today's headline may seem strange for the very good reason that it is. I just liked how the first two syllables repeated themselves in the second two; and then I got to thinking that this weekend is Indpendence here in Bim.

But it still doesn't make sense.
